Mount St. Helens

It was a clear day so we decided to check out Mt. St. Helens. This picture shows the mountain and mud flow with the river carving through it.
John, Emily and Rachel on Rachel's and Emily's first visit. This is very close to the volcano.
There was a crowd, it was clear weather and the wildflowers carpeted the hills.
We had a delicious lunch on the way down at 18 Mile House.
